...
He's there when embers turn to ash,
This lamp of life, as fuel burns low.
A time when day and night would clash,
my light He sparked, my flame would glow.
Above this world's deceitful stealth,
He stands, the Lord of endless wealth.
For in His hand true riches are --
the love for man no foe can mar.
When I was lost, to God estranged,
I had no grid to mark my day.
My soul was parched, horizons gray.
I needed help, thoughts rearranged.
My cobwebbed mind could hear no sound,
in misted haze, with blindness crowned.
Yet though delusion had me bound,
God set me free, now hope is found.
He's there when embers turn to ash,
above this world's deceitful stealth.
When I was lost, to God estranged,
my cobwebbed mind could hear no sound.
