Cool air mixed with warmth
Gently rustling through my clothes
Sprinkling garden hose
Trickling softly upon a golden rose
Rainfall's pattering whispers
Puddles forming down the street
Airy clouds and double rainbow soon to meet
Spring picture complete
Thunder claps overhead
Lightning streaks through hazy twilight
Natural phenomena in all its might
Majestic mountains in looming height
Robin and sparrow calls awake the dawn
Species of both flutter across the lawn
Fading moon glow and beaming sunrise color the morn
From Mother Earth's womb, Spring is born
Gazing out my window
I see the first green mixed with frosted snow
Winter and spring hands cling
As ruddy, rosy sunset shadows embrace everything

Author Notes
