I watched an eagle soar today...
a second one was close behind
Bees were busy coming my way -
as nature's beauty seized my mind
Sunlight was beaming on my face
as God's word was stirring about
I felt His love, mercy, and grace...
When belief and hope sought me out
Then I looked upwards to behold...
clouds drifting slowly from my view
My mind recalls what Christ foretold -
His word will always see me through
Stars at night left a sparkling glow -
God's glory gave light from above
Peace within allowed calm to show
God's protection and steadfast love
