The bright sun sprinkles pretty pinks around
To warm every heart and bless them with love.
This aura awakening happens at sundown;
A blessing given from our God above.
The pink rose inspires and promises happiness
As it is a grand gesture of true tenderness.
The beauty of a pink rose is blushing and bold,
As it seems to dance, Delighting hearts young and old.
Author Notes
Day 11, NaPoWriMo 2020 - Write a poem in which the flower takes on specific meanings.
Notes: I thought a number of flowers since the NaPoWriMo posting to write about. They included links that were very useful in making me indecisive. I actually read everything. Then, I ran a search on roses and chakras to narrow down a flower choice for this poem. I was raised with roses and tulips in the garden. So I am passionate about having them around. Although, I have an anthurium houseplant from CVS on my kitchen table. I was raised with it too, but it's more of an always flowering plant. I love all flowers. And still, this was a difficult task to complete. I must get some sleep.
