ISOLATION
A test of mind and disposition
Total isolation now the norm
We see it as an imposition
The calm before the storm
Who knows just how long for?
As this virus takes hold
Corona stats we can't ignore
They're only half the stories told
No one can really prophesise
We're still learning every day
All we can do is improvise
As we run out of pay
No one could, have predicted
Just how far this pandemic's spread
So many people now inflicted
Sadly, so many are now dead
Take heed in all the medic's advice
It's more serious than you think
Complacency is not suffice
For we are well past the brink
It's well past the time to be serious
Due diligence, a daily routine
No time to get delirious
But be only heard not seen
Total isolation now
Is definitely the only way
We all, must make this vow
To keep this virus at bay

Author Notes
As the world heads for total isolation and shutdown , a "viral winter" if you like.
I am concerned for everyone's state of mind as cabin fever and possible anarchy set in.
Confined to a house is going to be a real test for resolve for some and won't be surprised in seeing a big spike in domestic violence and suicide because of this.
I am sure many will see it as bad as a Japanese water torture.
Don't forget to phone a friend through all this ordeal, just to say hello and keep each other's spirits up.
