Acrostic Poem writing prompt entry

So, let me tell you,
Here I am again, at home,
Each day I spend my day alone!
Life is now not so much fun -
This virus thing has me undone!
Every day is just the same
Retreat from others? This is lame!
If I could only get out with my
Neat friends. Someday golf? Who knows?
Golly, I’m bored, but that’s how it goes…

Writing Prompt
Write an acrostic poem. Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same words as in the title. See an example in the announcement.

Author Notes
I am so bored, I even watched a movie my wife chose.
Later, she informed me that all she had was kale and broccoli for a salad and I could not go to the store.
The dogs were waiting at the door. Time for a walk. They wouldn't go with me.
Crisis level has been reached. We're out of beer and the only wine is her white zinfandel.
Entering a contest at FanStory has been the most exciting part of this day!

I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitress.
