The very best I gave of me, so much of it, when in my prime. Now, I can hardly cease to be and saddened by the passing time. I stand among my progeny of whom I'm proud. They show their love. They seem inspired and shower me, it's like life's blessings from above. Out in the yard the flowers sway.  The rays of sun still warm  my heart and gentle breezes sing to say, here's tribute, you have done your part. A withered, broken man am I. Life is so sweet but death I spy. March-2020   Recognized Author Notes There has been much good and much bad in my 95 years.I am very thankful and at peace.
