I'm sure I told you this morning
But, I want to make sure you know.
Let them be the first words of the morning
And the last words we speak at night.
The first words when we are loving
And the last words after a fight.
I want you to hear them when you are dreaming,
Or when you're wide awake.
I want you to know I love you
please love me for my sake.
Have I told you lately, I love you
Well, I'm telling you again.
I love you more today
Than when our love began.
