Exceptional Just a fun poem re the toilet paper panic buy up Toilet Paper Buy Up by Chrissy710

My toilet paper has run low so to the supermarket go, the aisle was bare, when I got there 'cept for a twenty four pack ware. Then I did see t'was not just me but shoppers every two or three, had big packs too, to stock their loo but what are we supposed to do? With frantic shoppers everywhere all under this 'Corona' scare, they've stripped the aisles, none left to buy so I can only really sigh. I only wanted a small pack because of toilet paper lack, but now have lots incase of trots tis 'Sorbent Silky' for our bots. I think I might restrict the wipe to just one sheet for every swipe, so then therefore my twenty four will last for me forever more. Christine 4/3/2020   Recognized Author Notes I couldn't resist writing this after going to my local supermarket this morning to get some toilet paper as we were running low. But when I got to the supermarket and found the loo paper aisle, it was almost bare as we have had a spate of 'frantic buying up of toilet paper in light of the current corona virus epidemic normally I buy a 8 pack but the only paper left was a 24 pack so yes I picked up one. Standing at the counter waiting to be served I watched nearly every second person going out with a 24 pack ( same as mine) This made me laugh and I am sure most buyers had no other choice like me. In Australia their is panic buying of items like toilet paper hand sanitiser , rice, pasta, flour and other items. I am sure this seems to be a world wide trend at the moment Anyway I thought a poem may be appropriate Hope you enjoy my effort Image from Google Thanks for reading my work Cheers Christine
