Above the water, a pale, mystic moon is aglow with a dewy, opiate vapor. Midnight passes in a soft exhale as the drowsy drip,                           drip,                              drip of time methodically lulls me to sleep. Nestled under dim whispers of moonlight, rosemary nods and the lily lolls until damp mists rise and enshroud them and the dark, recumbent lake.
