Ode to a winters' morn,
silver clouds drift on rosy'd skies.
A thrill of chilled design,
puffs of breath, linger, you'll find.
Thoughts drift north
with their well~worn hearths,
birch flickers in comforting warmth.
Early bird chorus, a stroll through the forest,
my ode to a winters' morn.
