Again, My Soul by Y. M. Roger
Write a Kyrielle writing prompt entry

Finding myself among the stars
Acceptance  for a long lost friend –
Too many falls, too many scars,
Yet here I find my soul again.

The passing years have dragged me down
‘Til I’ve not ire nor ear to lend –
Spent tears, they stain my wedding gown,
Yet here I find my soul again

Soft velvet nothingness of black
Caresses all of me and then
I’m startled by the zodiac,
Yet here I find my soul again

Such soothing light in each star’s kiss
Allays my spirit’s wand’ring yen –
I know my broken can’t be fixed,
Yet here I find my soul again.

That line is usually the last line in the stanza, but it does not have to be. Each line is made up of eight syllables. There is no limit to the number of stanzas. A Kyrielle is usually made up of three or more stanzas. For this prompt, a minimum of three stanzas is required.
