If I don't go to Heaven
After my final stand,
Do with me as you will,
Just let me touch your hand.
Thank you for the blessing,
You have given me here on earth,
Thank you for the guidance,
You have given since my birth.
Thank you for my wife,
Who stood faithfully by my side,
And for my children,
Who give me so much pride.
If in the final analysis,
I don't measure up to your plan,
I tried to do my best,
I am but a mortal man.
