As I built around myself a wall   I’d fall many a day   then came the day I had to say   that is when I did pray   so that the Lord would take my strife   comforting me   helping me see   I could be free   and live with glee   and be all I could be in life. -Patricia Lawrence 11-26-19   Recognized Author Notes This is a biographical poem. I did indeed built a glass wall around myself figuratively. The walls came crashing down when I had a massive break from reality with my first bout with bi-polar disorder.
