Cats aren't supposed to plotle,
but this one had a waddle!
Sprang on a fence, fell in a trench,
it didn't mean to splotle!
It jumped up, most delighted,
a mouse is what it sighted.
It jumped on top, the mouse went pop.
The mouse was fully blighted.
The cat had quite enough,
its day had gotten tough.
It ate some flox, hard as rocks,
had tasted better stuff.
The cat was in a snit!
In sagplant, it did sit.
It itched and wailed until it bailed,
that cat was such a nit.
Now cats hardly show feelings,
you never know their dealings.
But whisper cattish in their ear,
you'll send their logic reeling.
The cat had quite enough,
its day had gotten tough.
It waddled home, beneath a dome,
Protecting all its fluff.
