Torrents splash
thoughts
across my mind
Surfing moods
till
I cast for love
Make a loop now
A noose-like slipknot
A loose knot
that could not
reign in
a seahorse
nor
the stouter mane
I sought to tame
No noose
tightens time
nor free verse's rope
the rhyme
All this time
I meant to be
what she can't see
I'll call
She'll...
Her head turns
as
my crooked walk slide
found the right side
just in time
