When you see a fading star
wish quick while it is falling
To be all that you are,
smile and seek your calling
This life which we are living
is so very brief
I have found out that giving
to others brings relief
At the end of the day
when you lay
your weary head for sleep-
those around you will say
that you had a way
of caring in a deep
Manner that shows
that where you go,
there will be comfort
instead of confusion
Learn how to slow
as you go, they will know
that instead of problems,
you become part
of the solutions!
One thing I have learned
going through these notions,
is that my fire burns
with passionate devotion;
To find and help others,
(I don't have to look far)
brings more satisfaction.
Instilled by my mother,
(Who was and is also a star),
gets a more positive reaction
So go ahead, wish upon that star,
but remember to only ask-
things for others, near and far
in this manner you'll bask
In the light
of goodness divine
Doing what's right,
you will truly find
You are achieving
immortality
Onlookers believing,
by what they truly see
A genuine, honest
one that stayed pure
Smelling good for the rest,
having used less manure
So, utilizing less,
you'll accomplish more
Your karass will be blessed,
and meet at The Holy Door
That opens to
the pearly gates-
for the very few
who truly wait
In earnest anticipation
Hear more, talk less
and see the relation
~ship~
Between where you are
and where you want to be
Look near, then far and
expect serendipity
Observe the cosmic balance;
and let it solve that riddle
Cultivate your talents,
stay away from the middle
Taste and see
that He is Good!
Then you will be
all that you should
See the light
that shines in their eyes
then it might
come as no surprise
By being last now,
you will be first then
And understand how,
why, where, and when
Just Who you are,
in the grand scheme
They will travel far
to bask in your beam
And when found
casting warm glow,
He, they and you
will surely know
The Truth-
that you are
that shining star
