Fanstory might have saved my marriage!
You see, I really love poetry to write,
But, when I try to read my latest to
Wife, she says, “Honey, not tonight.”
For how many years did I suffer as
I would try to sleep, poetry in my head,
Knowing I had written a masterpiece,
But couldn’t share with she in my bed.
Then one day whilst perusing the web
Per chance came I upon Fanstory -
Where gifted poets such as I could
Find a humble ray of poetic glory.
Mind you, ‘tis not total poet’s Nirvana;
As in marriage, there is some rejection.
There are contests painfully lost, and,
There can be reviews of weird suggestion…
Yet, we poet wanna-bees are family;
We are one in our love of writing.
No matter our level of skill or smarts,
Fanstory is there for us, most inviting.
P.S. I must add, to insure comprehensive

To wit: For the space to salute Fanstory,

I just like having a place to put down some organized thoughts( a real relative term in my case). Then have some friendly and intelligent comments. I never get those at the golf course!
