Our mirrors show us the aging process.
Beauty IS Within

Mirrors are not
my favorite thing.
As I am sure
you will agree.
When I wake up
in the morning,
it unhappily stares
back at me.
Where have you been
It might ask.
you look so old and worn.
I look back and say
"you haven't looked within".
Mirror feel blessed that
I let you see
the lines and wrinkles
that have formed on me.
Beauty and love lies
within the heart where
only God can see.
Take one last look,
as the day will come
when my face
will no longer appear.
You won't be needed
to tidy my brow.
God will do it for me.
