Sad was the day, I lost my love. Sixty years of marital bliss, Thanks to the Lord above. For five long years, She wasted away. She suffered so Until her final day. A beautiful lady, Heart and soul. I held her hand And watched her go. She comes to me, In my dreams at night. I long for the dreams And that beautiful sight. God blessed me The day we met. Although she's gone, She's in my heart yet.
