Author Notes
Author's Note:
This poem sounds full of cocky bravado. It aint necessarily so! Believe me, I often tell lies when I write.
I think the dreaded 'writer's block' can step in at any time to hinder anyone who uses words, whether spoken or written.
We can do anything, be anyone, and go anywhere when we write. The tree of knowledge is always worth climbing, whether revisiting our own experiences by swinging through its branches, or scrambling higher to seek new experiences and a different view. Tapping into the nourishing roots of past wisdom from the explorations of others is also useful in helping to find words to express our own lives.
