Feline Liberations by Y. M. Roger
Write a Limerick writing prompt entry

On my journey home from the great St. Ives,
I met a joyful man sans all his wives:
He'd let the cats escape,
Made his wives so irate
That they divorced him to live separate lives!

Writing Prompt
This five line poem has an AABBA rhyme scheme.
It can be humorous, or if not then just lighthearted.

Author Notes
Original Mother Goose:

As I was Going to St. Ives
By Anonymous

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were there going to St. Ives?

Answer: One (me!)

But leaving St. Ives? One man, 7 wives, and 343 cats.....Yikes! No wonder he let them all go...
