Pessimism is contagious
It spreads like wildfire
I'm drenched in a squall of negativity
So much so, that I can't wrap my head around
Someone else's exuberance
At a small child's excitement
When viewing soap bubbles in flight
Their delight astounds me
As I worry what will happen to us next...
