See that little star up in the sky, The one that brightens as darkness rolls by. It seems suspended up in space And disappears at daybreak without a trace. When I was a boy, I watched it shine, Its light must be tireless, unaware of time. I wonder how long its light has shone? How long will it shine before it's gone?
