A flaw brings uniqueness
to whatever it touches
still, even the smallest blemish
is often viewed as a shortcoming
as if nature is expected to produce
perfection in all living and non-living entities.
How many children are totally dismissed
over simple foibles
lives forever marred
over perceived defects?
Take time to look past imperfections
and examine what lies beneath
you just might find an inner beauty
that will totally fascinate you.
