Rising into popcorn clouds
Below me buildings ran away
Wind whistled past the wings
The sun lowering in sight
Streaks of purple, rose and gold
Filled my eyes with magic hues
As daylight dwindled down
Darkness spread in eerie sheets
Stars and moon on canvas bright
A cry of busy roosting birds
The Earth became a watery abyss
A dotted outline of countries far
Time in space became blurred
Melting reality with fantasy.......
A mechanical bed in motion
Surrounded by air
Sleep overcame thoughts
While time passed
Later
Clouds smiled and hurried by
Activity began
Movement disturbed the Zen
Calm became trampled by feet
As man's bird lowered down
The world became a bigger place
My journey was almost complete
