This contest caught my eye, I'll have a go
Create a poem with a different flow.
No right or wrong, the meter make it mine
And if it's anapestic that is fine.
Trochaic pentameter too
Is something that I'll try for you.
I think the syllables are right
If not, then keep it from your sight.
But now it's time I must confess
To let you know I'm getting stressed.
Unsure about the meter I have used
I seem to be quite muddled and confused.
I'll post this anyhow
and hope that you'll allow
me into this contest
you see, I've done my best.
I've tried so very hard to get it right,
But now you be the judge on how I write.
Mistakes or spags perhaps you will detect,
Please let me know so I may then correct.

Write a poem with a different meter per stanza (minimum of 4).
It can be about any topic you like. There is no right or wrong way to do this, its just about making a poem that changes rhythm, so experiment and see if you can create your own type of metered poem! The best meter creation should win!
First stanza: iambic pentameter
Second Stanza: Anapestic Pentameter
Third Stanza: Trochaic Pentameter
Etc..etc...
Or if you want, create your own rhythm too, it does not have to be
Dum..DA..dum..Da etc.
Maybe you want to do
..dum...dum...dum...DA, dum...Da...dum...DA..
It is your choice.
