A poem
gift of sight. by judester
Being Blind writing prompt entry

Her hands reach gently out to me,
as fingers softly trace.
My smiling eyes discovered,
as she explores my face.

Curious, her hands sweep
a face she cannot see.
I sit watching this young girl,
as she's exploring me.

With each stroke, it evokes
a thought of butterflies.
She finds my mouth is grinning,
as tears slip from my eyes.

I wish for her a miracle,
the wondrous gift of sight,
but her giggles let me know ~
she lives in her own light.
