A baby meets with an and old man
they see each other eye-to-eye.
The old man smiles
as the baby tugs his bead.
As Time takes a baby step,
flowers bloom on rosy cheeks.
Says the old man to the youth,
"Behind these bristled hairs
lies the face of who you'll be."
"I hear, but I don't understand,"
replies the teenager.
Then, Time takes another breath,
roots take hold and the old man says,
"I see you dancing in the arms of danger."
The young man smiles and speaks,
"Old man, this time is for my desires,
the people are laughing at you."
"My beard may be long,"
whispers the very old,
"for it wraps around my legs.
Yet, when I struggle, I free myself;
I know what to do." There is silence
as light appears in the tunnel of Time.
The man sees and finally understands.
The ancient says, "You now hold the treasure
of Wisdom and Knowledge," and walks toward the light.
