Soft, beautiful flowers with velvet petals nestle among the thorny canes on the dark green shrub... radiating the hues of a glowing desert sunset.

Author Notes
It is nice to sit and think of ways to describe an object or event. Instead of ...the rose is pretty... you can use descriptive words and phrases instead. I was giving an example of this to my son this weekend and this is what popped out. He said ..you should post that, mom.. So, I did.
