Outback skies, cold and clear
Black velvet, diamond bright
Riding the skies, evoking fear
Spinning bright Min Min light
Aboriginal ancestors hover in space
Myriad of colors light their way
Europeans grimace, fear on face
Using rifles to scare them away
Still they return spinning above
Hovering close to fear-filled stranger
Min Min lights filled with love
There is no fear, no danger
Min Min lights have spread far and wide
Accepted as signs from another place
Some are trailing luminous tide
Fascinating phenomena from outer space
