It sits alone in a bud vase
With intricate petals like lace
That brought on a glare;
Romantic and square ---
Daydream stare;
Sweet embrace.
A flower with a rosy face
Full of life and humble with grace;
Peachy with pink tips ---
Sexy without hips,
Thorns and whips
Found a place.

Day 3 - Write a poem that takes time to unfold. I didn't follow the writing prompt. I went with a poetic form that I haven't utilized before and ran with it.
Clogyrnach is a Welsh form that is considered to be a fun poem. Here is the rhyme scheme:
Line 1: 8-syllables, a rhyme
Line 2: 8-syllables, a rhyme
Line 3: 5-syllables, b rhyme
Line 4: 5-syllables, b rhyme
Line 5: 3-syllables, b rhyme
Line 6: 3-syllables, a rhyme
