Where is my knight errant
When I need him?
I have prayed for his help.
This is not a whim.
He needs to return to save
me from the pain
Of these many knives
That seem to rain
Down and delve
Deep inside me
He needs to remove them
to set me free
So I am no longer a pincushion
for others ills
Then each wound can heal
And I can still
Find a way to become whole
So he can claim my willing soul
