I have a little black book
containing phone numbers galore
I've kept it for many years now
and will keep it for many years more.
I really should replace it
as the pages are all falling out
but I know I never will
I'll hang on to it, no doubt.
The writing in it is fading
and hardly can be read.
Most of the folk have changed numbers
and some are even dead.
