Hell hath no fury like a cyclone scorned
Batten down the hatches

BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES
Batten down the hatches
As Mother Nature dispatches
'Trev' in all his fury
As we wait with judge and jury
The verdict continues swaying
As predictability keeps delaying
A tempest that can rediscover
And strike us like no other
So batten down the hatches
For on the surface it only scratches
But nothing changes like the weather
So best we stick together
'Trevor' keeps us on our feet
Cyclones never are discreet
Like the ones before him
We just can never ignore him
He'll always keep us on our toes
Just like his sisters, everyone knows
But for the moment we've dodged a bullet
But that trigger he can always pull it
So at the moment we keep a vigil
And hope that every individual
Will always be on their toes
For Trev's outcome no one knows
With all his twists and turns
A victim quickly learns
We are never out of the woods
Around these cyclonic neighbourhoods

Author Notes
I have a good friend living in the 'top end' of the Land down under.
This cyclone season in the top end of Australia and like your 'Twisters' in America. Our cyclones can be very destructive and unpredictable.
When they form in and off the coast in the coral sea on the east coast or the indian ocean on the west coast, the bureau of meteorology keep a constant wary vigil of where they might cross the coasts and their intensity is described in a numerical category. At present Cyclone Trevor is menacing our friends to the very north of our continent but we also have one up on our very Northern west coast that looks menacing as well.
Good luck Tony I am keeping my fingers crossed for you as you lie in the 'eye" of Trevor
