Winter is the season which starts out the new year,
year that begins with resolutions,
resolutions that may soon be broken,
broken without leaving any solutions,
solutions whose course could impact the coming Spring,
Spring, in which life's sublimely renewed,
renewed in both the body and spirit,
spirit that's set towards Summer, with souls imbued,
imbued with a lightness overtaking said souls,
souls that Summer has again set free,
free to embrace whatever Fall shall bring,
bring before these days too, shall quickly flee,
flee before the takeover of Winter's cold chill,
chill which brings a longing to the bones,
bones aching for the coming Springtime,
Springtime, where the wind through the trees never moans.
