For this contest you are to choose a well-know character from classical literature and write a 7-9-7 from THEIR point of view. Examples of the characters are Queequeg from Moby Dick or D'Artagnan from The Three Musketeers or Harvey from Captains Courageous or Friar Tuck from Robin Hood....the possibilities are limited only by your imagination! Make a real impression on us -- remind us just what a remarkable or villainous or hilarious (or whatever!) character they truly are! Remember a 7-9-7 is a short 3-line poem where the first line is seven syllables, the second line is nine syllables, and the third line is seven syllables. |

"Don Quixote "is a Spanish novel by Miguel de Cervantes,published in two parts in 1605 and 1615..this novel is the most influential work of literature from the Spanish Golden Age. One of the most popular books still read today .
The novel narrates the imaginary adventures of a lesser member of the nobility who believes to be an errant knight that wants to aid the "weak" with the help of his servant Sancho Panza.
