Reflecting minds, shine with the times

Secrets held dear to the breast
A piercing darkness tries to infest
What's never been heard stands guard
People change with the emerging night
As the blazing sun sets out of sight
The Moon lurks amidst the clouds
Where do we stand in this mysterious land
As we wander to and froe
Is there a reason that we're here on Earth
Are we just souls who have taken birth
Here to bide the time
Whatever the reason that makes us real
Has taught me lessons so I can heal
Reality has more life to give
But it drains away so we can live
