Author Notes
Airports are a lot like life. You have the structure of society ordering and shepherding our movements, you have the frustrations of delays, cancellations, the proximity to people who you never meet, never share your experience with, but also the glimmers of hope, of a chance at a new start in a new place, the distant destinations. They are frustrating, exciting, marvelous and hollow all at the same time. I dedicated this to my friend Ulla, who probably has spent more time in airports than anyone I know, and who can maybe vouch for my premise. estory
