Killer Kisser by Deniz22
100 Word Flash Fiction contest entry

It was so strange!

I was a spy for the good guys with the bad guys hot on my trail as I ran through the station.

Desperate, I saw a beautiful young woman I had earlier spotted on the train, lounging in a shadowy area.

I ran to her.

"My life depends on me kissing you!"

I embraced her and kissed her, as my would-be killers ran by. For a moment, we were Bogie and Bacall, Casablanca relived.

We've been married for sixty-five years today, and she still doesn't believe my story.

"Here's looking at you, kid! Too late now!"

Author Notes
In the interest of full disclosure, she was waiting in the shadows of the subway, hoping to catch a glimpse of the handsome stranger she had seen on the train earlier. She won't admit this of course, but we men know...we just know.
