In the summer of my last year in college while working in the tutoring center I met a girl named Anna, who had the bluest eyes I've ever seen. We'd shared some conversations with light flirting before I worked up the nerve to ask her out. We'd just sat down in the barbecue place when she asked me. "What are you thinking?" "I think I'd like to kiss you." She gave a little grin and leaned across the table. "I can see it happenin'." I get the same chill when I kiss her 24 years later.
