Abecdarian Poem writing prompt entry

Archaeology is so much fun, digging all day in the
Burning sun, or diving beneath the
Caspian Sea, searching for treasures from 1000 B.C.
Don't you see how it's truly grand
Even traveling to another land?
Feeling the air, feeling the past,
Gathering memories that will always last.
How wonderful
It is
Just simply to find something that the
Kings of the past left behind. From
Lost gold and human remains to striking
Marbled pottery,
Nobody knows just what they'll find. It's
Oh so exciting to people like me.
Plenty of
Queens and kings who have died have etched in stone their
Rules to abide. There are also
Scrolls that are
Truly priceless,
Unique pieces, coveted by those who are
Viceless.
We archaeologists love to discover relics from
X number of years ago.
Yet sometimes, it's merely the excavating that makes us so
Zippy and sets our hearts aglow.

Writing Prompt
