Bayou shadows run dark and deep, deep rhythms of life giving sounds. Sounds muted by the verdant growth, growth in tangled, snarled swirling rounds. Rounds of voices in cadence songs, songs sung to a melody old. Old harmonies on wafted breeze, breeze carries kept secrets untold. Untold, sweltering vibrancy, vibrancy green and mossy hued. Hued amid the dappled half-light, half-light of filtered shade infused.
