We've Broken Free

Seasons are late to change.
Lasting cold brings anger,
doubt, and much despair.
No one can keep their mind
off Spring's long repression.
Seasons are late to change
All wish mountains of snow
Would disappear so ghosts
Of balmy breezes and sun
are Mother Nature's hosts.
Seasons are late to change
Weather becomes the most
Important subject in
Everyone's hearts and minds
Praying that Spring will win.
Seasons are late to change
But at last it is here
And everywhere is glee
The sun's out, warmth's arrived
From Winter we broke free
