flesh dehydrates
in deflated dreams,
brain atrophies
in aborted hopes,
blood seethes hotter
in spiked outrage.
and
woefully,
when cowed and scared
a child's frail hands
debone itself
in maniacal despair.
painfully,
the bottled hatred
collects dust and dirt
spewing an emotional storm
as the beaten soul
falls further down
and sinks deeper.
eventually,
history forgets
and memory fades
as time stops counting
the abused child's torture
in the devil's vile dungeon.
