at the tip of their fingers.
writers are creative pausers
where ideas spring naturally
in purposeful aimlessness.
writers are prolific spinners
where untapped sites and spaces
roll between heaven and hell.
writers are expert lens framers
where words take a snapshot
to capture the human spirit.
writers are precise sculptors
where words chisel visual images
consigned to re-invent life.
writers are God's noble warriors
where words stand guard on duty
between right and wrong.
writers are but humans too
where words kneel to emotions,
to subdue them on paper.
writers are poets and storytellers
outsiders looking in, of alien tongue,
tasked to interpret you and me.
