Remembering your flow of yesteryear... injustice done, there is no alibi Vanquished to depletion from your own sov- ereign state of calm, a place to revere Radiance of fluid flow...now over Respect for Earth’s blood as seen in water  Unrelenting fate forced your leave in lieu Nowhere to move but lay still in the mourn Shadow’s image lost in reflective tears Drought drains, evaporating...life silenced Remaining void covered by dry dust sheer Your bed made to rest no longer murky~   Recognized Author Notes Poetic creativity is used for the composition of 3rd/4th line. The competition guidelines require the first - LETTER - of each line spell out a word downwards. It also invites creative approach. Thank you for reading my poem.
