I was born 1950 in a Texas cardboard house, cold in winter, hot in summer, and grew by the railroad. Then, we moved where the grass was green. Went to school and learned with the help of a big windy paddle. Worked in the fields at thirteen, hoeing in Montana, swimming and cherry picking in Michigan, and worked in an Illinois tomato factory. Finished school and joined the war. Grew up quick and didn't want any more. Worked different jobs and almost lost my mind. Yet, married a wonderful as well as beautiful lady who helped me in my times of trouble. We have three daughters. Car run me over and attended college with three herniated disc and lots of medication. Had a hard time but didn't quit. I learned to write poetry and got a BA and three associate degrees at the age of 58. I'm still a recluse.

Writing Prompt
Write the entire story of your life in no more than 150 words. You can be experimental, creative, funny, serious, provocative, reflective, whatever style you best feel represents your life. You must write about your entire life, not just a moment of it. No poetry (too easy). No fiction (YOUR life), although metaphors are acceptable so long as they are directly interpretable to be about your life. You'll be surprised at what your life looks like in 150 words...

Author Notes
It is good to read short, but true life stories from different people. We are all different but we are the same. We live a life of pain, love, misery and happiness. Yet, we are alive to tell it. I wish everyone the best of everything in life. I'm not really a recluse I just keep to myself. :)
