Excellent Statement/Question Testing my Muse by Chrissy710 Statement-Question contest entry

Testing my Muse            This contest here will test my muse But first a question I must choose. So this is what I now propose, “Would you like some freestyle prose?”   However maybe too profound With esoteric words astound. Instead, just stay with rhyme I know “Should I perhaps give that a go?”   The subject matter must be right With syllables and meted tight. But I’m not sure I can appease “Could you suggest a topic please?”   I think I’ll write a little rhyme About my favourite past- time. Yes, I am sure this choice will do “Would you all like to hear it too?”   Well here I go, I’ve made a start So come on muse some words impart.
