In the afterglow of twilight,
in the still of the night.
I found a good place to study,
and sat me down to write.
Unconscious of tomorrow,
never mind the clock.
With firm determination,
I wrote through writer's block.
A blank sheet of paper,
a picture, on the wall.
What if...the picture,
on the paper did fall?
A picture paints a thousand words,
that's plenty words for me.
To sit all night, with wit to write,
creative poetry.
A picture of a mountain,
so high up in the sky.
"YES! I can climb that mountain.
"YES! I'll dare to try.
At the climax of the challenge,
the drama so to speak.
I wrote this poem's ending,
on the mountain's highest peak.
